“Parks are integral to urban life – everyone deserves a clean, safe, park in their neighborhood. Parks create community.”
On May 19, 2011, Neighborhood Parks Council held their Annual Friendraiser Luncheon at the elaborate and beautiful Julia Morgan Ballroom. The Luncheon was a great success with a fully packed house. This networking event brought together an amazing group of supporters and advocates for parks and open spaces. It is our strong relationships that keep our city green and allows us to escape to nature in our urban city.
As the panelist spoke each one emphasized the importance of our parks and how we all can be engaged in improving the overall health of our city and the environment. It was so meaningful for the NPC staff, as we work with so many of the attendees each day to celebrate
our amazing achievements together.
On behalf of the NPC staff and Board of Directors, we thank our generous sponsors, table hosts and partners. With your donations and funding we can keep the future of open space and recreation vibrant and alive.
