Corinne Woods

Blue Greenway Coordinator

A resident of Mission Creek, Corinne devotes her efforts to the open space and environmental issues related to development of the Eastern shoreline of San Francisco.  Since September 2006, she has worked part-time for the Neighborhood Parks Council to implement the Blue Greenway, the planned extension of ABAG’s Bay Trail and the Bay Area Water Trail from AT&T Park to Candlestick Point.

Corinne is the Chair of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency’s Mission Bay Citizens Advisory Committee, Co-chair of the Port of San Francisco’s Central Waterfront Advisory Group, a member of the UCSF Community Advisory Group (CAG) and the UCSF Mission Bay CAG Action Team.  On behalf of the Mission Creek Conservancy, Corinne works with the Sustainable Watershed Alliance (SWAle) and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission on sewer and stormwater issues.

Corinne represents the Mission Creek Harbor Association as a member of the Coalition of San Francisco Neighborhoods.  She participated in Plan Potrero Hill, a grass roots community group that worked with the San Francisco Planning Department on development of the Eastern Neighborhoods rezoning Plans, and continues working on implementation of the Eastern Neighborhoods’ Showplace Square Open Space Plan and ENTRIPS, the Transportation Authority and Planning Department’s Eastern Neighborhoods Transportation Implementation Plan.

Corinne was a member of the Mayor’s Blue Greenway Task Force and Chair of the Board of Supervisors Bioscience Task Force.
